According to government data, over 61 million Americans live with a disability. Today’s infographic from the U.S. Census Bureau breaks down the number of Americans with a disability by age, sex and type. Per the CDC, a disability is any condition of the body or mind (impairment) that makes it more difficult for the person with the condition to do certain activities (activity limitation) and interact with the world around them (participation restrictions).
