The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in February was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,366.7 billion, which is 1.3% below January’s revised estimate. However, February’s figure was 6% higher than February, 2019. Residential construction was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $564.3.8 billion in February, which is 0.6% below January’s revised estimate.
