Home of the Future?

Last month we posted a link to a podcast with Frank Rolfe, the 5th Largest Park Land Owner in the US (200+ parks), who talked about building a mobile home park empire.  Recently, Time Magazine ran a story entitled “The Home of the Future” about mobile home parks, their attraction and why they might be one of the hottest sectors in real estate.  While not for everyone (and certainly not everywhere) this article presents an interesting perspective about these moveable abodes.

 

[Frank] Rolfe boasts that mobile-home parks provide the steadiest income stream of any form of commercial real estate, and the highest rate of return. And trends are running their way.
