While Labor Day weekend traditionally marks the unofficial end of Summer, the Coronavirus has made 2020 a year like no other. We sincerely hope you were able to enjoy this past summer season and whatever good weather it has left. The U.S. Department of Labor says:
“Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.”
Since the pandemic has dampened this year’s Labor Day celebrations and muted a lot of the travel (AAA didn’t even issue a travel forecast!), the folks at WalletHub did a quick survey about year’s holiday and the Coronavirus. Stay safe, Happy Friday, and make it a great holiday weekend!!
