The U.S. Government is reporting that sales of new single-family houses in November, 2022 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 640k, which is 5.8% higher than October’s revised rate and is 15.3% lower than one year ago. The median sales price of new houses sold in November was $471,200 with an average sales price of $543,600. There were an estimated 461k new houses for sale at the end of November representing a 8.6-month supply at the current sales rate.
