According to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices, home prices continue to rise across the country, reporting a 6.2% increase in January, 2018. Their 10-City Composite annual increase came in at in at 6.0% and their 20-City Composite posted a 6.4% year-over-year gain. Seattle, Las Vegas, and San Francisco reported the highest year-over-year gains among the 20 cities. The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Home Price Indices are one of the leading measures of U.S. residential real estate prices, tracking changes in the value of residential real estate both nationally as well as in 20 metropolitan regions.
