The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in February, 2023 was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,844.1 billion, which is 0.1% below January’s revised estimate but is 5.2% higher than one year ago. Residential construction came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $852.1 billion in February, which is 0.6% below January’s revised estimate.
