The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in June, 2025 was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $2,136.2 billion, down 0.4% from May’s revised number. In addition, June’s estimate is 2.9% lower than one year ago. Residential construction came in at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $883.1 billion in June, which is 0.7% lower than May’s revised estimate.
