Rental information site Zumper recently released their National Rent Report for December showing that the median national rent for 1-bedroom apartment was $1,139 and $1,348 for a 2-bedroom apartment. San Francisco continues to dominate their National Rent Index of 100 cities at $3,350/$4510 with Toledo, Ohio rounding out the bottom at $430/$550. Zumper says “Even as pricey markets continue to fall, other rising markets are pushing up the national median rent about 2.6% since last year.”
