Rental information site Zumper recently released their latest monthly National Rent Report showing that their median national rent for 1-bedroom apartments in January, 2023 was $1,492 (down 0.3% from December) and the median two-bedroom rent was $1,822 (flat since December). Zumper says rent prices continue to decline gradually across much of the country Be sure to check out their list of the top 100 metro areas.
“Rental demand is still relatively high, thanks to chronic undersupply in most markets plus many people opting out of the buying process…” Said Zumper CEO Anthemos Georgiades.
