Have you been holding back on getting into the short-term rental space? Do you have a property in one of the 16 cities below? Well, Airbnb is looking for new listings in host cities for this year’s FIFA World Cup which starts in June. In fact, a new listing (from a new host) could earn an extra $750 reward for listing a home and hosting the first guests by July 31, 2026. They say this is on top of what hosts will already earn listing on Airbnb. Of course there are some terms.
To qualify for Airbnb’s $750 host reward, individuals must be new hosts or have no active home listings as of February 1, 2026. Eligible participants must either submit their information through the promotion landing page before publishing a listing or receive the offer directly from Airbnb. They must list an entire home in a qualifying event zone in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico and complete a reservation worth at least $100 (before taxes) by July 31, 2026. Canceled bookings and most API-connected listings do not qualify. Rewards are paid within 45 days after a completed stay. Airbnb may verify eligibility and deny rewards for fraud or violations.
