Led by lumber and plywood, The NAHB’s Eye on Housing is reporting that building materials have seen price declines of 1.6% of the past 12 months, a big difference from just a little over a year ago. Citing data from the Producer Price Index (PPI), the NAHB says the recent decline “broke a four-month trend of increases.”
