The U.S. government is reporting that total construction spending in September was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,414 billion, which is 0.3% above than August’s revised estimate. In addition, August’s figure was 1.5% higher than September, 2019. Residential construction was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $610.9 billion in September, which is 2.8% higher than August’s revised estimate.
