Inflation Comes in at 3.2% in February

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.4% in February, 2024.  The all items index was up 3.2% for the 12 months ending in February.  Interestingly, the index for shelter & gasoline both rose and, when combined, contribute over 60% of the monthly increase in the index for all items.
