The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) decreasd 0.1% in June, 2024. The all items index was up 3% for the 12 months ending in June. The index for shelter rose 0.2% in May, the fifth consecutive month of increases.
